Hidamari Cottage is a quintessential rural Japan mountain lodge providing the ultimate Niseko ski holiday accommodation for a larger family or group.
Hidamari means “sunny spot”, although it’s unlikely you’ll get much sun in Niseko in the peak winter months in Niseko! Come back in summer and it’s a whole different story :)
Located in Lower Hirafu Village, it is a quiet spot for families to play inside and out, or jump on the free shuttle bus up to the slopes or any restaurants and attractions in the village.
Hidamari Cottage Accommodation
Hidamari Cottage has four bedrooms, two of which have twin or double beds, and two of which have a single set of bunks plus trundle beds, meaning up to three can sleep in these rooms.
There are two bathrooms in the chalet, each with showers and baths.
The kitchen is basic but has a modern oven and and stove as well as microwave, toaster and rice cooker.
There are nice views of the mountains and surrounding snow-covered village from large windows throughout the house.
Hidamari Cottage Location
Hidamari Cottage is located in a quiet part of Lower Hirafu Village in amongst the other houses and accommodation buildings of the village. It’s buried in snow throughout the winter with ample opportunity for kids to play outside.
It’s a long walk to the lifts if you’re keen, but the free shuttle bus stop is just two minutes walk away. Within about five minutes you can be at any lift in the village.
There are several great restaurants and bars within a short walking distance from Hidamari Cottage.
