The Yuki Yama Apartments have Japanese-influenced design features and spacious open plan living areas. The kitchen has good facilities for cooking and island-style benches that double as breakfast bars with bar stools. You might have little use for the kitchen though, as there is no shortage of good dining options nearby even if you’re on a budget. You can find many great meals for under $10/day and night.
The complex features two and three-bedroom apartments comfortably furnished for a seamless stay in Niseko. The lounges in each unit are comfortable and entertainment is on tap with LCD TVs, DVD players and MP3/iPod connectors. There is also a good WiFi internet connection and free local phone calls on the landline for restaurants bookings.
The apartments have verandas if you need to duck out and get some fresh air. The front door to the building has security code access for peace of mind, and there is a ski storage and drying room and laundry in the building. All in all, you’re truly sorted for a great stay in Niseko.

The only two-bedroom apartment at Yuki Yama, this unit features a cozy sofa lounge area with coffee table and two sofas, a U-shaped kitchen counter and shared bathroom straight out of the exit. Around the corner a bathroom and separate toilet are shared between two bedrooms, each with storage space and a king double bed that can be split into 2 singles, according to your needs. The building has shared laundry and ski storage facilities.

Setting / Atmosphere
Yuki Yama Apartments are in a truly great location. They’re just a five minute walk from the crossroads of the village which is the centre of all the action. That hotspot can be a noisy place where everyone is enjoying the nightlife, but the apartments’ side street location means the noise is just far enough away to give you peace and quiet.
Lifts / Transport
The apartments are about 300 metres from the ACE Family Run from where you can catch a lift up to access all other parts of the mountain. A minute’s stroll onto the main street from the apartments gets you to Hirafu’s transport hub to catch shuttles both around the village and to other nearby resorts accessible by bus.
Restaurants / Bars
There are dozens of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance so you will never be short of dining and entertainment options. There are also two convenience stores close by where you can stock up on all groceries, snack and drinks – including beer, wine and spirits. At Yama Yuki Apartments, Hirafu is your oyster!

Richard Vine –
Great location in middle Hirafu, so close to Seico supermarket and many restaurants and bars. Easy walk back from the Gondola and the shuttle stop is very close by. The apartment is perfect for a family of 4, bedrooms are large enough and bathrooms are fine. Somewhat underwhelmed by the lack of a welcome pack that we were used to in previous years. I would definitely book Yuki Yama again but I would ask for an apart on the second floor as the noise from people walking heavily upstairs can be quite invasive.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom unit, it worked well for a family of four and two singles. Main bedroom with en-suite bathroom fit our family of four (which included two teenagers) comfortably, while the two singles had their own bedrooms with a shared bathroom downstairs. The living area was spacious for all to enjoy and relax after skiing/snowboarding all day. Having a kitchen is always a plus and there’s a lot of counter space with the added bonus of bar stools. Modern and clean! Location is within walking distance to Grand Hirafu lifts, shuttle stop to neighboring ski resorts, restaurants, food trucks and of course Lawson’s and Seico Mart. We would definitely stay here again. Also, the staff at Powderlife are awesome! Very attentive, informative, generous and great with suggestions for a memorable vacation.
