Yama Shizen is a twin-building apartment complex in the heart of Hirafu.
Yama Shizen offers deluxe Niseko accommodation in the heart of Hirafu. The two buildings (East and West) contain studios, 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, and 3-bedroom apartments featuring contemporary architecture and tasteful designer interiors.
Well located in Upper Hirafu, Yama Shizen is within walking distance of many of the village’s best bars and restaurants. It’s also close to several of the ski lifts, with on-snow ski valet included in your stay. The property offers a pick-up and drop-off service from the Hirafu Welcome Centre on arrival and departure.
The ground floor of the building houses a secure ski and snowboard storage room with a fully-equipped ski tuning area. They also offer a concierge service to help with restaurant and tour information and bookings, babysitters, and general information about the resort.
The apartments are all fitted out with premium appliances, including flat screen TVs with English-language satellite TV services, DVD and CD players, wifi and LAN broadband internet and telephones for local calls, as well as laundry facilities. On arrival, guests are provided with essentials such as coffee and tea, milk, sugar and washing powder.
Yama Shizen Accommodation
Yama Shizen offers apartments in studio, 1, 2 & 3-bedroom configurations, sleeping up to eight guests. Ideal for couples or close friends, the studio apartments sleep a maximum of two people and have king beds that can be split into two singles. They have a small kitchenette for preparing light meals, and a small separate living space.
The 1-bedroom apartment will sleep up to 3 guests, with one king bed (which can be split into two singles) plus a single sofa bed in the lounge room. The 2-bedroom apartment sleeps up to five, with one king bed (which can be split), two twin beds and a single sofa bed in the lounge room. The 3-bedroom apartment will sleep up to eight in the same bedding configuration as the 2-bedroom apartment, with the addition of a double/single bunk bed.
1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments are all fully self-contained, featuring fully-equipped kitchens with dishwashers. They all have private balconies with most apartments offering views of the ski resort or Mt Yotei.
Yama Shizen Location
Yama Shizen is in an ideal location for hitting the slopes with the Hirafu Gondola just a four-minute walk away and only 400m to the base of the Ace Family run. For the intermediate and above riders, an off-piste trail makes it unofficially ski-in/ski-out. There’s a small coffee shop downstairs for your morning pick-me-up as well as Yama Dining, the on-site restaurant, which offers an upscale menu of Western and Japanese fusion, as well as an extensive and reasonably priced wine menu. You don’t have to walk much further to get to the main hub of Hirafu’s eating and drinking establishments.
