Tirol Apartments are a mid-range accommodation option suitable for small groups or families. They’re made up of two freestanding duplexes, each with two apartments in each. Just a short stroll from several restaurants and NAC (the Niseko Adventure Centre with outdoor shop, restaurant cafe and rock climbing wall) they are a convenient place to stay. It’s not located in the main part of Hirafu Village, so it’s a long walk to the lifts, but still on the shuttle bus route so still effectively close to lifts and all the amenities of the village.
The amenities in the house are of a basic standard. It has a full kitchen with stove, oven, microwave and a small fridge, but not much bench space so ideally you don’t want to be cooking huge meals here. Breakfast and lunches will be no problem, and throwing the odd basic dinner together will also be fine. There’s a dining table with four chairs for these meals, but there are so many great value restaurants nearby that won’t cost you much more than if you were to buy the ingredients from scratch. There is also a ski and gear storage and drying room which you will love when it comes to getting back into your lovely warm, dry gear the next morning. There is also a washing machine and dryer.
The apartments are set alongside beautiful forested hillside in a quiet area of the village, meaning it’s a great place for families to build snowmen and ride toboggans. Meanwhile parents will enjoy it for value, peace and quiet and the lovely views out over the snow buried countryside.
If you’re not skiing or playing outside, the apartments come with satellite TV with English channels and a DVD player for entertainment. It also comes with wifi internet so you can keep track of reality outside your winter wonderland getaway. There is a landline phone for making free local calls to restaurants and any other activities or services you need to inquire about.

Tirol Apartments Location
Tirol Apartments are located in the Izumikyo 1 precinct of the greater Hirafu Village area. It’s just two or three minutes drive to the gondola if you have a car, or a 10-minute ride on the shuttle bus as it loops around to pick up passengers around the village. It’s a long walk and probably only feasible for super fit energetic people. For your average punter you’re probably best saving your energy for the hill!
