The building is located in what’s called the Family Zaka (Street) precinct, right alongside the Ace Family lift and ski run. Before Niseko’s rebirth in the mid-2000s, this was a rundown part of the village with a few old dilapidated hotels and car parking. But with a few huge luxury developments right on the ski slopes, this little area is now a bustling accommodation, entertainment and dining precinct. Snow Crystal is right in the heart of it all, without the official “ski-in/ski-out” price tag.
The apartments have a sleek and stylish, open plan design with floor to ceiling windows offering scenic views during the day and night. LCD TV’s broadcasting satellite TV channels and DVD player are present in every apartment for your entertainment. The apartments have chic designer bathrooms with one bathroom per bedroom, plus hairdryer.
2-bedroom apartments have one ensuite and one shared bathroom, while 3-bedroom apartments have two ensuites and one shared bathroom. All apartments have basic laundry facilities with washing machine and dryer. Modern kitchens with island benches adjoin living and dining areas in an open-plan layout. The building was purposely oriented towards Mt Yotei, with expansive windows in the living areas maximise the picturesque views of the iconic volcano.

Lifts / Transport
Don’t waste your time and energy getting to the lifts – put on your ski or board boots, step out the door of Snow Crystal, clomp 50m down the lane and you’re on the slopes. Boom!
Restaurants / Bars
You’re right in the heart of it all here at Snow Crystal. Within a five minute walk there are probably about 20 or 30 restaurants to choose from and half a dozen bars. Right next door in premier ski-in/ski-out complex The Vale Niseko is the Vale Bar & Grill, for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. The awesome Niseko Pizza, Toshiro’s Bar, Enishi Izakaya and wine cellars Niseko Cellars are just across the road, and not much further is Odin Place’s Cheese Fondue at the Alpinist and Abucha Izakaya.

Amazing accomodation with amazing views.
Just amazing. So close to the lifts and handy to food and bars. The accomodation provided plenty of space for myself and 3 boys. Dry room is conveniently located and the staff were very flexible when checking in late due to arrival delays. I couldn’t recommend them enough.

Snow Crystal was perfect for our stay. The bedrooms were roomy, the e suites well laid out with a fantastic shower head, heated towel rail and toilet seat. Bliss! The kitchen/dining/lounge was a great space with awesome views of Hirafu and Mt Yotei. Amber was fantastic! She came early to meet us on arrival, was super helpful with all our questions and was super friendly. Thanks for making our time here great, Amber!!

Modern rooms and amazing location
Stayed here with a group of 5 friends, and it was lovely. New and modern rooms, all the appliances you’d need (dishwasher, washer, dryer, etc), and great location. Lots of restaurants within walking distance, there’s a small lift 2 min walk away and a run that ends there so almost a ski in/ski out. The main lift is about a 10 min walk up if you want to catch first lift. Also so helpful to have a front desk concierge in the building to help make restaurant reservations and let us into our rooms when we forgot our key. Thank you Arthur for all your help!! Total lifesaver.
Only downside was that the wifi was spotty at times.

Great location
We had 7 nights and stayed in 501. Great apartment. We used 2 of 3 bedrooms. Very nicely finished apartment. Love heated toilet seats and floors. Great storage in the heated basement for all ski gear.
Suggestions- have someone meet you on arrival. We arrived at 100pm but staff don’t arrive back until 300pm. A hot tub would have been great. Great kitchen but a partially stocked pantry would have helped- just some condiments etc.
On site staff and cleaners are great. Views across to Mt Yotei were fabulous. The central location is so good for food and lifts, though not ski in. Highly recommend.

Very comfortable apartment in centre of Niseko Village very close to ACE Ski lift with stunning views.
Really enjoyed our stay at Niseko. Ski Japan were fantastic, picking us up as per schedule and ensuring we had a trouble free stay. The only comment I have about the apartment was that the dishwasher filter looked like it had never been cleaned before and when the apartment was serviced one set of towels were removed and not replaced causing me to request towels three times before receiving them.

No wait / no queue for reception / lift / ski room access… 4) and of course, being in Japan, everything was in order in the apartment and all appliances worked well.
I would position Snow Crystal as an upper mid-range apartment. Much less luxury than Kizuna (which by the way is too noisy because of the bar next to the building) and a bit less luxury than Alpen Ridge.

There were many things we liked about our first trip to Niseko … The snow, the food, the people … But what made it a truly great experience was the location and services at our apartment in Snow Crystal. Its stones throw from the mountain and beautifully equipped for a family … Awesome kitchen, great beds and comfortable living area. The undoubted highlight was the service we received from Jess. Nothing was a problem and she ensured our stay was a great one. On my sons birthday she organised a cake, candles and a little treasure hunt for him. What a great touch!

The overall place is very modern in design, spacious enough for 6 people with nice sofa and dining area to hang out. The great touch was the in apartment washing machine with drying facilities. The toilets were nice and roomy and clean. Rooms were also comfortable and cleaners were meticulous.
Great thing was the cleaners were so good that they found a lost earring which our friend dropped and Jess was great to arrange its return.
Overall would return here again.
The only one thing if any is that the ski storage room and the pathway would be lined with non-slip surface would add to the safety especially at the end of the day where puddles of water gather and making the floor a little treacherous.

Nice service and good location
Spent a first week of 2017 in 501 apt. 3 bath rooms and 3 bed rooms made our stay comfortable ( 3 adults and 2 kids) . The kitchen is fully equiped by all possible appliences. There a few food stores within 5 minutes walking, plenty of ski gear shops are near by. Ski lift is just behind the building ,just go through Vale hotel.
One thing to be improved is TV. Normally we connect USB flash directly to TV and little one can watch cartoons, but not with Japanese TV.

Great location, modern, spacious with friendly staff
Fabulous 1st family ski trip. Apartment location is near chairlift for Family base or bus stop for gondola base. Gives you option to ski home which is great. Lots of nearby restaurants, supermarket nearby as is ski rental etc. Spacious boot room accessed from lift outside your apt. Staff available and nothing is too much trouble. Importantly for us lots of drying space for clothes over night and also helpful to have washer and dryer in apartment. Amazing view of Yotei tops it off. Everything you need, highly recommend.

Awesome acommodation
Beautiful lodgings in the perfect spot. Right in the middle of everything, 50m from a chairlift a short walk to restaurants and ski shops. The staff are super helpful, we managed to get ourselves locked out of our ski locker on the best day of our trip but Jess managed to sort us out and we still made the first lift of the day. Jess also gave us some great recommendations for an anniversary dinner and a couple of places to go afterward. All in all a great place to stay

Great location and modern facilities. Only 50 meters from the ticketing office and chair lift. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. lots of great resturants to choose from. there is also a international ATM only 60 meters down the road with a great grocery shop. First time for us that we stayed in Snow Crystal and we loved every minute of it. Location is great, staff nice and very helpful. Lots of kids playing in the snow just down the building. Perfect accommodation in Niseko
We rented the 6th floor apartment for 10 nights in January. Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly service member and shown around our apartment. The apartment was spacious, well equipped and offered amazing views especially from the hot tub. The cleaning was superb and the location was perfect. Only downside, the floors accessing the ski locker were extremely slippery.

Perfect for family travellers
Initailly we were thinking about booking and staying in The Vale. But we decided to give this place a try. And we were very happy. First of all there are three rooms. So we all can stay connected to each other unlike if we stay in hotel. Kids can sleep in their own room, yet can still walk in to our place at anytime. And then there is kitchen. Which is wonderful. With many fresh ingredients around, it is great to have kitchen. So we can cook and it is actually cheaper too. The apartment size is good and very strategic. Close to ski slopes and next door to Vale hotel. Around the area there are many shops and grocery store as well.
All in all. we will certainly stay in apartment such as this one when we stay in Hirafu village instead of hotel. The lobby and the bed are quite small. But I think it is very common in Japan. Thec check in time also is very strictly observed. Not because they will not let us. But simply because it takes forever for management to clean up the room.

Excellent Accommodation – 5 out of 5 for ever aspect
The quality and standard of the apartment was just superb and was only outshined by the truly wonderful service from all the staff, especially Ellie and Katrina who I would like to personally thank for their outstanding support and service. The apartments are located in a great position in Hirafu, 100m to the chair lift and I think we never walked more than 60m to a restaurant. The Dragon restaurant (just opposite) in particular was just magnificent with great food and beautiful glassware for our wine at a great price.
Large ski lockers make for easy departure and arrival to the snow and means no messing about lugging your gear around town. Stunning views from the lounge/dining/kitchen and bedrooms just add to the modern clean well appointed units appeal and enjoyment. Initially the room temperature was way too high (but that seems to be the way everywhere in Japan – they all pretend to be living in Hawaii surrounded by snow) but we soon turned it down to a comfortable temp for the following night. But by far the best thing about Snow Crystal was the support and service the staff gave us. They organised all tickets, ski hire, lessons, transfers, etc weeks before we arrived. Unfortunately during our stay, one of our group broke her collar bone and Katrina and Ellie could not have been more helpful organising taxis, ski and lift cancellations and refunds, revised transport to Sapporo at short notice, etc,etc. The 2 girls really went out of their way to help us and took care of things we hadn’t even thought of during the crisis.
A word of warning about skiing in Niseko generally however is that it is not really a place for beginners. The green runs can be quite challenging and are definitely more difficult than in Australia. But that aside, the Snow Crystal was outstanding and I would absolutely recommend it to small groups or families. We once paid $6000 for a top end apartment in Falls Creek but Snow Crystal was way better in every respect. Will absolutely return there ourselves and I wouldn’t even bother looking for other alternatives, just book me in here.

Great property in awesome location in centre of Hirafu
Lovely property, recently taken over by NISADE this season, which now incorporates a receptionist in the lobby for an easy point of contact with any issues that may arise during your stay. Location wise, probably one of the best, super close to the base of the Ace Family Chair. Perfect walking distance to everywhere in Hirafu. Hanazono bus right outside the door almost. Ski rentals, restaurants, chair lifts, transport, local small supermarkets all within a block. Property wise, no through traffic, so very quiet.

Location, luxury & genuine dedicated reception.
First class accommodation – warm, secure (skis etc) & luxurious. First class location – close to Ace Family lift, close to shops & restaurants. This was our 3rd year to Niseko – 3rd year staying at Snow Crystal. The difference this time was the addition of reception services – can you get higher than First class? Nothing was ever any trouble and all the time you can’t stop feeling that you are being specially treated – and you are!! Genuine thoughtful consideration of any way your stay could be improved. There is no higher recommendation than the best.

If you want an amazing location, comfort and support for your stay in Niseko then look no further.
We arrived in the dead of night after a long day of travelling, clutched in my had was our itinerary and details about how to check in after hours. What could possibly go wrong… As it turns out, nothing. Access was very easy and the 3 bedroom apartment that awaited us was clean, sophisticated and very inviting. As a group of 5 single the beds had been split prior to our arrival and were warm and very comfortable. The view from our window in the morning was of Mt Yeotoi and the main intersection of Hirafu. The location so close to lifts, buses, shops and restaurants was amazing.
Katrina at reception was unbelievably helpful with booking dinners, tours and helping attend to any issues that arose for our group. There were so many things to recommend Snow Crystal and nothing negative after staying 10 nights there, but the location and the service provided by Katrina were second to none. Will definitely be back next year. 😊

Best Family holiday at Snow Crystal Apartments – Niseko
Booked our family skiing holiday at Snow crystal apartments in Niseko (through Nisade). We had three families of varying ages and the apartments have great location to the chair lifts (no buses) and full access to the resort.
Perfect for a family stay with generous two and three bedroom apartments that are fully appointed with everything you can imagine. if there is something you need, Nisade have a desk in the apartments (eg. Restaurant bokings)
