Shinsetsu Apartments is a row of beautiful quality townhouses in a truly great location, in a quiet street just down from the heart of Hirafu. The apartments were built in the mid-2000s and are really solidly built. You will appreciate this for the warmth and the quiet inside.
The apartments feature stylish contemporary western design with Japanese influences such as sliding paper screen doors and traditional artwork. They’re also decked out with modern entertainment systems so you can really enjoy every moment of your holiday. Of course, there’s also wireless internet in each apartment.
The 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments come in a range of configurations, but all have spacious lounges and open plan living areas. While not overly spacious, the kitchens feature everything needed to cook everyday meals including full size oven, microwave, dishwasher and big double sink. The drawers and cupboards come filled with a full complement of cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. Having said that, you’re within five minutes walk from dozens of great restaurants and eateries.
The main entrance to the building features security code access, as well as secondary key lock security to individual apartments. There are large ski storage and drying rooms located conveniently just inside the entrances. The laundry facilities are also down here with washing machines, dryers and ironing facilities, should you be heading out to Kamimura or any of the other upmarket eateries.
Shinsetsu Apartments Accommodation
Shinsetsu Apartments come in a range of configurations including 3-bed/2-bath; 2-bed/3-bath; and 2-bed/1-bath. All bedrooms have queen size double beds that can be split into two singles if needs be. All rooms can sleep one extra on request and an extra bed can be arranged.
Shinsetsu Apartments Location
Shinsetsu Apartments are located right in the middle of Hirafu, or technically they’re at the top of the middle village. About 100m up the street is the unofficial central meeting spot in the village – the Seicomart. It’s also the crossroads of Hirafu’s two main streets, Hirafu Zaka Street and Route 343. Hirafu Zaka Street runs up the hill towards the main lifts in town about 1km up the road. But just 100m from this crossroads is the family lift, from where you can catch the lift up to the main lifts.
Just 50m down the hill from the apartments is the shuttle bus, so if you don’t want to walk you can get delivered in style. Note – from this location the shuttle has to go through the rest of Hirafu village, so it might take 10-15 minutes to get you up in peak times.
There are plenty of great restaurants and bars within five minutes walk from the property. You’re going to have a great time staying here!
