POWDER TRACKS

By 5th October 2013July 11th, 2022Niseko Accommodation

Powder Tracks is a large apartment building with modern furnishings and comfortable living.

Powder Tracks is a block of apartments in Hirafu’s upper village. The property has studio, 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments, making them ideal for couples small to medium-sized families or groups of up to eight guests.

Built in 2005, the properties are looking a little dated when compared to some of the brand new luxury properties springing up around the village, but still offer comfortable and affordable accommodation for those who don’t have to have all the mod cons and latest technology.

The apartments feature panoramic triple-glazed windows which allow plenty of natural light to stream through, as well as providing sound-proofing and insulation. South-facing apartments are lucky enough to enjoy stunning views of Mt Yotei, which is Niseko’s mini-Mt Fuji.

Open plan kitchen, living and dining areas offer comfort as well as independence. Lounge areas feature flat-screen TVs with English-language satellite channels, as well as DVD and CD player and wireless internet connection throughout all apartments.

The basement area is large and has full laundry facilities including washing machine and clothes dryer, secure ski and snowboard storage, drying room and fully equipped ski tuning bench.

Powder Tracks Accommodation

Studio apartments are ideal for couples or pairs of friends as the bedding can be configured as either a king or two singles. The 1-bedroom apartments are similar but offer a bit more space, and can take a third guest on a single sofa bed in the lounge. 2-bedroom apartments will sleep up to five guests, with bedding comprised of a spilt king in one room, twin beds in another and a single sofa in the lounge. Up to eight guests can fit in a 3-bedroom apartment, with a split king in one room, twin beds in another plus a double/single bunk in the third room as well as a single sofa in the lounge.

All apartments except for the studios have private balconies and full kitchen facilities, including microwave and dishwasher. Studio apartments have a kitchenette, suitable for preparing light meals, with a microwave, toaster and bar fridge.

Powder Tracks Location

Powder Tracks is located in the upper village, just off Hirafu-Zaka St, which is the main road that runs from the Hirafu intersection up the hill to the Ace Pair and Ace Quad lifts. It’s only a short walk up the hill to these lifts, and 300m down the hill is the Ace Family Pair lift. Both the free village shuttle and the Niseko United shuttle stop just a little way up the hill on the other side of Hirafu-Zaka St.

There are plenty of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance of the apartments so you won’t struggle to find somewhere great to eat – your biggest challenge will be choosing which one! There are also several onsens (natural hot spring baths) nearby, located in the Hirafutei Prince Hotel which is just across the other side of Hirafu-Zaka St, and also the Niseko Alpen Hotel, which is just a little further up the road next to the Ace Pair and Quad lifts.
