Kisetsukan is a recently built condominium, fully furnished with modern comforts.
Kisetsukan is a group of nine 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom apartments located in Hirafu’s lower village. Sleeping five to seven guests in each apartment, they’re ideal for medium-sized groups or families.
Translated to English Kisetsukan means ‘a sense for the seasons’ – quite fitting for Niseko, which is a fantastic year-round holiday destination. Whilst Niseko is famed for its plentiful powder during the Winter months, Spring and Summer are also a great time to visit – once the snow melts the village is covered in lush greenery, and there are plenty of activities on offer such as rafting, hiking and cyling.
The Kisetsukan apartments are all fully furnished and feature modern interiors. The open-plan living and dining areas are great for entertaining, and large floor-to-ceiling windows allow for plenty of natural light, adding to the already spacious feeling of the apartments. Each apartment has a private balcony, allowing guests to enjoy the surrounding natural beauty year-round.
The apartments have LCD TVs that are connected to English-language channels such as movies, documentaries and news, as well as DVD and CD players and wireless internet connection. Each apartment has its own laundry facilities, including washing machine and clothes dryer, and for the winter months there is secure ski and snowboard storage facilities and a drying room. Daily servicing includes fresh towels and rubbish removal.
Kisetsukan Accommodation
Kisetsukan has nine apartments, with both 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom apartments available. 2-bedroom apartments will sleep up to seven guests while the 3-bedroom apartments will sleep up to seven guests. Bedding in each room can be set up as either one double or two singles, making the properties ideal for either families, or groups of friends travelling together.
Some of the 2-bedroom apartments are split-level and others are single level. The single level apartments are great for families with younger children and have one bathroom, while the split-level apartments have two bathrooms and are great for groups of friends travelling together. The 3-bedroom apartments are all split over two levels and all have 2 bathrooms.
The kitchens are well appointed, equipped with modern Western appliances including a microwave and dishwasher.
Kisetsukan Location
Kisetsukan is located in Lower Hirafu Village, a nice quiet spot away from the busy upper village. For those wanting to hit the slopes the closest lift would be the Ace Family Pair which will take you about 20 minutes on foot with all your ski gear, however the village shuttle stop is just a couple of minutes from the apartments, and will have you at either the Ace Family Pair, Ace Quad or the Hirafu Gondola in no time at all!
There are some great restaurants and bars in the lower village within walking distance of the apartments. The other main attraction close by is Yukoro Onsen, which is a public hot spring bath. The steaming hot, mineral-rich water is the perfect cure for tired, aching legs after a hard day of skiing or boarding.
