J House is a 4-bedroom chalet located in Lower Hirafu Village. The spacious home features a blend of Western and Japanese design and styling and will comfortably sleep up to eight guests, making it ideal for large families or groups.
The house features an expansive open-plan dining, living and kitchen area and the warm, cosy atmosphere is perfect for relaxing with family and friends after a big day of skiing or boarding, or for entertaining guests.
The lounge area has a wide-screen TV and DVD player as well as satellite TV so you can access English-language news, movies, documentaries and more. The house is also connected with wireless internet throughout.
A large outdoor lawn area offers the perfect area for BBQs in Summer, or makes an excellent snowy play area in winter. There are full laundry facilities including a washing machine and dryer, as well as a ski and snowboard storage and drying room, so you don’t have to worry about cold, wet boots next time you hit the slopes! For guests with a car, there’s a garage that provides secure undercover parking.
J House Accommodation
J House can be configured as either a 3-bedroom or 4-bedroom house, with one room able to be locked off for a smaller group. It can sleep up to nine guests when all four bedrooms are in use, with additional bedding, and up to seven with additional bedding when configured as a 3-bedroom house. Each bedroom can have either two single beds or one double.
The 4-bedroom house has three bathrooms, which reduces to two bathrooms when it is set up as a three-bedroom home.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook at home on those nights when you don’t feel like going out for dinner.
J House Location
J House is located in Lower Hirafu Village, a quiet, peaceful setting just a short walk from the centre of town. The closest lift would be the Ace Family Pair, which will take you about 15-20 minutes to walk to in ski boots and carrying equipment, but the shuttle stop is just a two-minute walk away from the house, and will have you up to the lift in under five minutes. Just a couple of stops further will have you at the Centre Four lift, and the next stop after that is the Gondola.
In normal shoes/boots it will take you about 10 minutes to walk up to the Hirafu intersection and from there, you’re right amongst some of the best places in town to eat. There’s also some fantastic options in the lower village if you don’t feel like going too far from home.
The other great part about the lower village location is that it’s only a 5 minute walk to Yukoro Onsen. An onsen is a naturally-occurring, mineral-rich hot spring bath and due to the volcanic geography of the area, Niseko is full of them! Yukoro is a popular spot for locals and visitors alike and offers separate bathing for men and women, with both indoor and outdoor baths. The outdoor bath is an experience not to miss, set amongst mountains of snow and boulders. The steaming onsen water works miracles on tired, aching legs after a long day of powderhunting!
