Hatsuyuki is located just a snowball’s throw from the centre of Hirafu and would be well suited to families or small groups. It’s a well-designed Western-style set of townhouses so coupled with its excellent location, is a good choice for your Niseko holiday. The house boasts modern Japanese design and architecture and is beautifully furnished and features tasteful artwork.
The building has a large comfortable lounge setting with a full entertainment system with English satellite channels and wireless internet. Alongside a dining area if you plan to do some eating in, although this is probably not going to be a huge concern – there are so many great restaurants within walking distance that you should really only spend one or two nights in. The kitchen is well set up for cooking any meals, as you will probably want to do this most mornings before hitting the slopes. The kitchen has an oven and a microwave, big double sink and dishwasher. There is also a laundry with washer, dryer and ironing board. It’s also got a ski drying room which is a great place to drop your gear and have it dry and ready for you the next morning.
Hatsuyuki is a 3-bedroom townhouse plus a studio and sleeps up to 10 people. Because of its setup it can be rented in a range of configurations – ie a 4-bedroom, a 3-bedroom, or a 1-bedroom studio, depending on what’s already been booked. Book early and you’ll get the pick of the options!
The bedrooms can be arranged to have one queen size double bed or two singles, and each has individually controlled heating. There are two bathrooms plus two separate toilets.
Hatsyuki is located at the bottom of Hirafu Middle Village. Step out the front door and walk to the top of the street – about 200m – and you’re in the centre of town at the Seicomart convenience store and the village crossroads. Just a two minute walk from here is the Ace Family lift, which you can jump on to get to the higher lifts. Otherwise, it’s a long walk up the hill to the Ace Quad lift. If you want to get straight to the main lifts it’s a better option to jump on the free village shuttle which stops just outside the house, which can take you to the Ace Quad or the Gondola, via a loop of the lower village.
