Fresh Powder Niseko
Location

Setting / Atmosphere

Fresh Powder Niseko is arguably in one of the best locations in the village, as the apartments are one of the closest accommodations to the gondola. It’s a peaceful corner of the village and you won’t hear that much noise at night, but the stores are a bit of a stroll – Lawson is the nearest convenience store at a return journey of about 15 minutes.

Lifts / Transport

One of the draws for the Fresh Powder apartments is how close the Gondola is. While a host of accommodations crowd out Hirafu-Zaka and the area around the Ace Quad and Family lifts, making the left side of the mountain crowded in the morning, the Gondola area is relatively quiet and less than a 5 minute stroll up the road. The free village shuttle also stops literally outside the front door so it can whisk you anywhere in the village you want from 8am to 9pm. They stop every 15 minutes.

Restaurants / Bars

There are a few restaurants within five minutes walk, but the majority are over the other side of the village, so it’s probably a 15-minute walk to the heart of the village. An Deli just across the road is a great place to get a coffee or a super-cheap lunchbox, and the Kakashi Izakaya is one of the oldest bars/restaurants in the area if you want to soak up some history.

Great location and huge apartments! The studio apartment is really big compared to many other studios in town. The property is walking distance to Gondola Lifts and represents wonderful value for small to large groups. Also a great little coffee shop right across the road.

Absolutely lovely. We enjoyed our stay very much. Location is amazing, right across the road from the free bus that can take you into town and to Hanazono, also across the road from a bakery. Just a few minutes walk away from the Hirafu gondola and at night a pleasant walk away from plenty of amazing restaurants. We were also taken to a large supermarket where we bought delicious local food. Overall I would definitely recommend this accommodation and, also, recommend visiting Annupuri.

5min walk to Hirafu gondola (especially helpful during lunch when the cafeteria is crazily packed, you can simply walk back and prepare a quick meal). Also great that it is just a 15min walk from the main intersection where you can find many restaurants and ski shops.

Place is pretty big for a couple to stay and it’s nice to have a well equipped kitchenette.

Love it that the team running the place provides a one time ferrying service to the supermarket and leaves you there to shop for an hour before coming back to pick you up.

Our group of 6 had a great time staying at the Fresh Powder 3 bedroom apartment in Hirafu! A quick walk to the slopes with our gear was key, while the walk in to town was very quick as well. The apartment was spotless with a nice sized living space, lower level ski storage and drying room, washer/dryer and comfortable bedrooms – we’d stay here again!
