Bliss Lodging is a condominium but feels very much like an intimate boutique hotel. It’s made up of a condominium wing with several different apartment configurations sleeping two to four people, and an annex with a two-storey, three-bedroom apartment for larger groups of six to eight.
Rooms are bright, light and airy with modern finishes and traditional Japanese features throughout. Every apartment type throughout the building has a fully-equipped kitchen and private bathroom, most with bath.
For those who like to socialise and mingle with fellow travellers, there is a fantastic common lounge and bar with a projector for guests to use. Staff host regular fun nights where guests can learn how to make Japanese noodles or savoury Japanese pancakes (okonomiyaki) and also cultural celebrations for New Year and traditional Japanese holidays.

Bliss Lodging Location
Setting / Atmosphere
Bliss lodging is situated within a quiet, spacious accommodation village area of East Hirafy called Izumikyo II. It’s outside the buzzing center of town – enjoy instead vistas of Mt Yotei and Annupuri across snow-covered farm fields around the lodge.
Lifts / Transport
Bliss Lodging offers a private guest shuttle to the lifts at 8.20am and 8.40am, and otherwise the free shuttle bus stops right outside the lodge. The free buses to Hanazono in the other direction also stop here – the base of Hanazono is the best kids play area in Niseko (and also offers amazing advanced powder skiing).
Restaurants / Bars
There are a handful of truly great restaurants within a walking distance – in particular be sure to try flame-grilled Italian restaurant Bion and soup curry restaurant Tsubara Tsubara. Or take the free shuttle into the village centre where you’ve got 100+ more options for wining and dining.

One of the greatest places in Niseko! Each of the apartments are modern, comfortable and come with a bathtub in the bathrooms. The property runs special nights for in-house guests such as Nagashi Soba Night or Okonomiyaki Pancake night. The staff are amazing and very welcoming. Highly recommend the property if you are looking for that family run feeling where the staff know your name. They are on hand to help you with arranging activities, lift passes, equipment hire or getting around Niseko. Plus they even have a discount card available for in-house guests where you can save at participating stores such as Lucky Supermarket.

Very happy to have found this gem of a place. It’s in between Hirafu and Hanazono. Since it was our first time, and us and our kids (11,13) wanted to learn how to ski, Hanazono was the perfect place to go. In the mornings / afternoons we went to Hanazono and in the evening, we go to Hirafu for dinner. Bliss lodging provided such a warm service and our room felt like our little home. Everyone was super nice and helpful, they would reserve taxis, our dinner places, recommend onsen and even help look for our missing gloves. We would definitely come back here again!

The hotel staff went above and beyond to make my 5-day solo ski trip a very memorable one! The people (Satoko/Tsuyo/Kana) are friendly, accommodating and always trying their best to help. It really stood out from the usually chain hotels with a very relaxing, friendly and homely experience.
I had a midnight arrival due to flight delays but they still picked up as promised, brought me to the local store to get breakfast and supplies (a must do) and patiently explained the area to me. During the stay, they hosted Takoyaki party. It was fun to see them make the food themselves and cook on the spot. A good selection of Sake and Japanese Whisky were provided. In the evening sukiyaki were provided in the reception area for free.
There is a ski bus stop right at the hotel and it comes every 20 mins. If the hotel van happens to go out at the same time they can generally give a ride. (Ski bus service ends at 20:30).
The room itself is immaculately clean and generous size by Japanese standard. It has a fully functional kitchen with utensils to make quick work of breakfast or takeout dinners. Thus it is important to stock up from the local convenience store on arrival if you want max time on the mountain.
Overall this is a very memorable solo ski trip thanks to Bliss Lodging. The staff really make me feel like part of the family and experience the Japanese culture/hospitality through the daily interactions and activities, which is something rare to come by in this very touristy area.

Very friendly staff that make you feel at home, something that only a small accommodation can do. Rooms are small, as is most accommodation here, but adequate. Not much to do on site…. but you are here for the snow after all. Bus stop for free shuttle is on the doorstep, runs every 15-20 min and takes 5-10 min to the gondola/restaurants etc.
Good in-room wifi included, with a small kitchenette which was quite useful for breakfast/snacks etc. My only recommendation would be to get smart TVs or add on cheap media box so guests can get entertainment content in the room.
