Avalon Niseko Location
Avalon is located in the heart of Hirafu Lower Village. The lower village is a quieter, often more affordable accommodation option, which can make it great value. These apartments are a prime example, offering excellent modern lodging with a snowball’s throw of the several great restaurants and bars, and also the Yukoro Onsen (hot spring baths) just at the end of the street. This is a great place to head to at the end of each day – hand over Y600
When it comes to skiing, there’s not much disadvantage staying down here. Yeah, you can’t stroll out of your apartment, click into your snowboard or skis and jump straight onto the first lift. But you also don’t need to spend a year’s wages. In fact, the shuttle bus that stops juts a few metres from the house is free and you’re at one of the last stops before the ski runs. So within five minutes you can be up at the family lift and away you go – from here you can lift hop up the mountain, or if you stay on the shuttle an extra few stops you can get dropped at the Ace Quad or the gondola like a VIP.
