Asuka Apartments are a group of 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments located in Lower Hirafu Village. The modern apartments offer comfortable, self-contained living and are ideal for couples and small to medium-sized families and groups.
The apartments were finished in 2008, so compared to some of the brand new buildings cropping up around the village they are looking a little older, however they offer clean, comfortable accommodation in a great location.
For nights when you want to stay in, there are fully equipped kitchens for cooking at home, and plenty of things to keep you entertained including English-language satellite TV with moves, news, documentaries and more, plus a stereo and wireless broadband connection throughout all apartments.
Each apartment has combination locks for entry, meaning you don’t have to worry about keys, as well as individually controlled heaters which will keep you cosy and warm on even the chilliest of nights. Each apartment (except for Asuka #8) has a washing machine and there is a laundry room downstairs with a clothes dryer, as well as an internal ski and snowboard storage facility and drying room.
Asuka Apartments Accommodation
Asuka Apartments offer a range of 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments sleeping from two to seven guests. The one-bedroom apartment is suitable for couples or pairs of friends as the bedding can be either one double or two single beds.
The two-bedroom apartments can sleep between four and six guests, with all apartments having one double bed and two singles, and several of the apartments having extra bedding for one to two additional guests. The three-bedroom apartment will sleep up to seven guests with one double and four singles, plus extra bedding available for an additional guest.
All apartments have one bathroom. They have fully equipped kitchens with modern appliances including a microwave, toaster and oven.
Asuka Apartments Location
Asuka Apartments are located in the lower village, offering a quiet but convenient location. The Ace Family Lift is a little way up the hill and will probably take you about 15-20 minutes to walk in ski boots, however the free village shuttle stops just up the road and will have you at the Family Run in just a couple of minutes. The Ace Quad and Hirafu Gondola are just a few extra stops on the shuttle route.
There are a number of great restaurants and bars located in the lower village within walking distance of the apartments, and without all your ski gear it’s an easier walk up to the upper village, taking only about 10 minutes.
Another plus for the location is that Yukoro Onsen is only a few streets away. Onsens are natural mineral hot spring baths and there are quite a few around NIseko due to the volcanic nature of the landscape. After a long day seeking out the best powder, yout legs will appreciate a soak in the steaming hot water.
