Phoenix One Bedroom with Table Lamps | Lower Wadano

Nestled in the heart of the valley’s most lively and holiday-friendly village – yet retaining an exclusive detachment from the hustle and bustle of ski resort life – Phoenix One sleeps ten people in its open plan design. Neutral pine panelling finds a home alongside glass, stainless steel finishings, marble bar tops and contemporary, natural textures. A fully equipped prestige kitchen includes a sophisticated range of appliances designed to deliver a luxury home-from-home atmosphere.

Home-cooked meals are still an option abroad, making for some long, relaxing evenings with family and friends. Nights in get even better at Phoenix One thanks to the entertainment capacity within the chalet. Large flat-screen TVs are dotted about the property including streamed programming, and as expected, wireless internet runs the length of the chalet. A foosball table can be found just off the main living room – perfect for the children or just for adults who might like to behave like big kids after another gleeful day in Japan’s famous powder snow.

Phoenix One has washing and dry room facilities as well as ski storage. A boot rack dryer will ensure toasty toes in the morning before hitting the mountain, while the chalet’s far infrared sauna is sure to warm up anyone coming home cold after an afternoon in the snow. If that’s not enough for the most active of holidaymakers, a modern gymnasium with TVs and a pumping sound system is sure to exhaust anyone looking to stay toned during an indulgent trip away. An eco-smart fireplace, underfloor heating, a built-in Nespresso machine and a purpose-built, granite Japanese hot tub add those final, luxurious touches.

Four large bedrooms sleep ten comfortably. Three American queen-sized beds ensure spacious shared sleeping arrangements for couples in the group, whilst a bunk room (which sleeps four) offers the perfect balance of comfort and fun for younger members of any traveling party. Four individual bathrooms also feature heated mirrors and rain showers.

  1. Avatar for Alastair

    Alastair

Phoenix One is one of my favourite villas of all time. Starting with the architecture: it’s beautifully designed, the materials are exquisite, the use of timber and the dark stone are amazing, it’s beautifully furnished. And now the obvious: the views! The glass looking out from so many rooms of the house are fantastic. It’s a great location, walking distance or a short drive to restaurants and ski lifts. What’s more: there is a lot packed into Phoenix One to make it extremely fun – a foosball table, outdoor fireplace, barbecue, a Japanese-style bath, a fully-equipped gym and sauna. It has everything you could want in a ski chalet.

Wow, wow, wow! What a modern and sophisticated three level chalet featuring gym fully equipped with all the equipment you need and more. Plus sauna which is the perfect way to relax and unwise after a long day skiing. It’s a stylish, spacious chalet with loads of wood that gives it character. Situated in Hakuba’s premier district in the Wadano forest.
