The World Airline Ski Championships (WASC), organized by the International Airline Ski Federation (IASF), will be held from 4 to 8 March 2012 in Niseko Village.
Held annually in different locations around the globe since 1960, the event is one of the largest global ski and snowboard programs. Following the 1978 Championships in Naeba, this year’s WASC will be the second time the event is held in Japan. Over 600 visitors are expected to attend the event, with athletes and supporters from more than 30 international airlines, such as Lufthansa, Delta, and Qantas Airways.
As the official hotel for WASC 2012, Hilton Niseko Village will host the event (see the press release linked below).
