AFTER travelling the world and working in ski towns in Canada and Switzerland, Tomoko Goto from Tokyo came to Niseko in 2007. She worked in various local restaurants when she first arrived, but she always thought of and dearly missed her friend’s little Thai restaurant she used to work at in Tokyo.
Around this time Tomoko also stumbled upon the perfect space to open an intimate and cute restaurant in Hirafu, and decided to jump at the opportunity. Tomoko opened her Thai-style restaurant Tuk Tuk towards the end of 2010 and serves up green and red curries, pad thai, tom yum, and many other delicious Thai dishes.
