RESIDENTS woke to a white surprise again this morning, getting people excited about the resort opening this weekend.
A few centimeters of dry and fluffy snow fell overnight, but the snowfall continued all day and looks to continue for at least the next few days.
Seeing the town back in white has reinvigorated local spirits, and reminded us that soon the colour green will be eliminated from the daily colour palate and buried under meters of fine white Hokkaido snow.
