The third and last comp of the HANAZONO Monthly Freestyle Series- Slope Style.

Date: Saturday March 17, 2011 (*) May be postponed or cancelled in the event of inclement weather

Schedule:
8:00am-9:00am Bib collection and registration
9:00am-10:00am Inspection and practice
10:00am Riders meeting
10:15am-11:15am First heat jam session (Male Ski, Female snowboard and ski)
11:30pm-12:30pm Second heat jam session (Male snowboard)
1:00pm Finalists announced
1:10pm Finalists practice run (1 run)
1:30pm-2:00pm First run of finals (Female snowboard and ski, Male ski, Male snowboard)
2:00pm-2:30pm Second run of finals (Female snowboard and ski, Male ski, Male snowboard)
3:00pm Awards ceremony at Hanazono 308
(*) Event schedule, format and judging rules may change according to the number of competitors, weather and snow conditions.

Entry fee: 2,000yen entry (On the day entry: 3,000yen subject to availability)
Entry requirements: You must be able to safely ski/ride over jumps, kickers etc. An insurance policy that covers ski/snowboard injuries is also required.
Max numbers of participants: Male snowboard 40/ Male ski 20/ Female snowboard and ski 20 *May vary slightly
Entries: 2,000yen entry closes Mar 14 (Wed) (*) Entries close when max numbers are reached

What you will need:
Helmets are compulsory. (A limited number of rentals available on the day)
Entry forms must be signed by a parent or guardian if the competitor is a minor.
All competitors must read and sign a waiver on the day of the event.
A valid insurance policy is required.

Event format: Heats are held in the “Jam format”- every skier/rider can take as many runs as time allows. The following numbers will advance to the finals.
1. 8 x Male snowboard
2. 4 x Male ski
3. 4 x Female ski/snowboard.
Finals Prizes awarded to 1st ~3rd in each category.
Special prizes also awarded for the most stylish skier/riders.

Please note:
Cancellations will not be eligible for a refund.
Entries will close once the max of 80 competitors is reached.
Entry forms must be signed by a parent or guardian if the competitor is a minor.
