It’s gray and super cold this morning. I went to Moiwa yesterday. I enjoyed a couple runs on beautiful groomers then headed to the gate 6. There were still fresh snow in the forest. I love riding in the forest as it’s so peaceful and silent.

Today is the coldest day of the season. TV said that it’s the coldest for last 50 years! It will be -20 °C at upper mountain. I want to see “diamond dust” or “sun pillar” which you can only see when it’s super cold. Don’t forget to have one or two extra layer and face mask. I might go to Niseko Village as I want to stay inside the gondola today.

The cold weather will continue for a week. Hopefully more snow will fall, too.
