This event is designed to make memories for our districts children, memories, that they can pass on to their children when they are Adults and to cement into their minds the place that they grew up in and create a hometown to which they want to return.  The fireworks extravaganza that started with small handheld fireworks, has come of age and this year we are celebrating the 30th year since the inception of this event. This year we have 1500 Fireworks that we are sending up into the sky, the best part of the event is that the fireworks are lit right next to you.

The event will kick off at 1400pm with lots of Fair type stalls and different foods and activities on offer, there are loads of activiites for children from lantern making etc traditional Japanese games etc.  One of the main events for the children is a parchute drop of messages (Part of the Tanabata Festival) from a Hot Air Balloon.

The main Fireworks Display will be from 20:00pm

To all visitors who plan visiting by car, parking on the side of the road is prohibited please ensure you use the carparks that are provided.
