It’s sunny and very cold this morning. I went to Grand Hirafu yesterday. I was going to go to the peak, but I met my friend at the bottom then she didn’t have avalanche safety equipment so I didn’t go. However we really enjoyed cruising under the beautiful blue sky. We could still find lots of powder in the resort, too.
So I want to go to the top gate and hike up to the peak today. I know it might be tracked out but I always feel good at the peak if the weather is good. I will take a bottle of coffee and my camera. Road and car parking are extremely icy and slippy. Please take a good care when you walk in the village.
One more sunny day tomorrow and snow will start falling soon.
