It was dumping when I went back home around 8 pm last night. My car’s got about 15 cm of new snow at that time and more 15 cm this morning!! I went to Moiwa yesterday to find some left over fresh snow. It’s hidden in the forest and I enjoyed 2 runs in there.
The low pressure gives us not only snow, also strong wind. It’s very windy outside already so we need to check the lift status before we go out today. Upper lifts will be closed for sure, I hope the main lifts such as Center 4 and Gondola will run. Fingers crossed. Rusutsu might be a good idea as it’s usually less windy.
Snow keeps falling until this weekend. So no rush.
