This year Gentemstick celebrates two decades of soulful powder turns, which have seen the birth and rise of a snowboarding icon and the driving force behind a global snow-surfing revolution.
From humble beginnings and a team of three in a small shaping shack just outside Hirafu, the Gentem family has grown over the years with founder Taro Tamai (seated left) still at the forefront of design.
Now globally recognised with a cult-like following, Gentem continues to inspire board makers and board riders the world over in pursuit of the perfect turn.
