Conditions observed in Niseko Town (139m)
Snowfall observed: 10 cm
Temperature:
  -4 °C
Wind: WNW 3 m/s

It stopped snowing late last night but it was really dumping yesterday afternoon. I had to clear 30 cm of new snow in front of my house when I got back home at 8 pm! I went to Moiwa yesterday. Snow was deeper than I expected. I enjoyed bottomless deep powder from gate #10.

I was going to go Grand Hirafu “Early morning” this morning. But over night snow fall was not much so my favorite “Super course” might be tracked out from last night. So I might go to Niseko Village for “Mizuno area”. Snow is now super deep at off-piste area and side country area. Better to get powder ski/snowboard if you go far out. It will be very windy in the afternoon, so if you plan to go higher, should go in the morning.

Snowy week has ended. Enjoy Niseko powder today!
