Snowfall observed: 10 cm

  -4 °C

It’s not snowing and bit warmer than last few days this morning. I had the best powder day of the season (so far) yesterday. I believe everyone who was in Niseko had the great day. Snow was unbelievably deep and smooth, no wind, good visibility, top lifts opened… isn’t it great!?

It snowed a lot yesterday afternoon plus 10 cm over night. So I think mountain has been reset again. I’ve heard that Annupuri gate #7 (lower gate called L ) was opened yesterday. I am now waiting for the top gates and Mizuno gate. So I will carry my avalanche pack to be ready for going out from the gate. Please read Niseko avalanche information to get more information.

Snow will keep falling for next 3 – 4 days. Have another great powder day!

– Maiko :)
