For the coming winter, Singapore Airlines is offering a limited-period nonstop service between Singapore and Sapporo (New Chitose Airport). Hokkaido has seen an increase in visitor numbers from South East Asia, with visitors lured by cooler weather, golf and hiking in the summer and of course snow in the winter. The service operates twice weekly from 26 November to 18 December 2011. Schedules as of 15 August are as follows:

SQ8511 – Dep. Sapporo 10:55 – Arr. Singapore 18:05
