There are over 300 entries from the world and the selected films are viewed by an international film jury before being screened to the public during the Festival and its traveling shows around the world.

This autumn, we are happy to have the BANFF Mountain Film Festival screenings in 11 cities in Japan from August to November and a special cut of the film,”Signatures” will be as the feature.

“Signatures” was shot mainly in Niseko last year. In the film local people such as Taro Tamai snowboarder) and Yoichi Watanabe (photographer and powder ski guide) talk about their beloved Niseko, nature and their life in Niseko. Audiences will see Niseko through their eyes. If you haven’t seen this wonderful film this will be a great opportunity. “Signatures” uniquely captures Niseko’s special charm with its beautiful cinematography and has received multiple awards.
