It’s cloudy but I can see mountains. I enjoyed beautiful groomers in the morning and amazing fire works at night in Grand Hirafu yesterday.

I think all Japanese is excited to hear the name of new era tomorrow. In Japan, we use the year in the Western (Gregorian) calendar, but we also give eras names based on the reign of the emperors. The current era is called “Heisei,” but it will change on the 1st of May when we get a new emperor. New era name will be announced tomorrow at 11:30 am.

I finish this season’s snow report today. This season has started a bit late but once it started, snow just kept falling and we had an amazing season! There are still plenty of snow on mountains and I hope everyone will enjoy spring snow for another month.

Thank you for checking the snow report and looking forward to seeing you in next season!
