It’s a beautiful morning, perfect blue sky without any clouds. Mountains are shining with morning lights. I went to Kiroro yesterday. It was very surprising, only one hour drive makes so much difference. There were 20 cm of fresh snow with no ice underneath, and snow was just keep falling, snow condition was amazing like high season. I enjoyed powder so much all day!!

If you are looking for powder, you should go to Kiroro, snow should be kept in fresh as it was cold last night. Today might be the last chance to ride in fresh powder there. I want to enjoy the sunshine today, so I will go split boarding in somewhere back country. Grooming run must be fun today, too! If the weather is good, everything is fun!!

Today is “Shunbun” (AutumnalEquinox Day), and it designated a national holiday. Shunbun is when the sun reaches the vernal equinox, and it’s the day when day and night are of equal length.

After “Shunbun”, real spring comes. Have a nice day!!
