Yesterday afternoon’s good snowfalls lightened over night but still provided some 10 cms even at lower altitudes and around double that up top.
Today looks set to follow a similar pattern, with falls starting mid-morning and increasing through the day.
Hirafu lifts open and the season offiially begins things could hardly look better. Every morning now I’m seeing fresh tracks from people sneaking a pre-season turn or two. Have fun out there, but remember we’re still riding a very shallow and unpredictable base so use your head!
