We had a great day or so of snowfall with at least a foot of snow falling around the village and more than that up high. They’ve got 80cm up on the midway station so to me that’s looking like it’s almost time to open!
It’s actually a beautiful sunny day here in Niseko now… although that’s not what we want!? Snow is set to kick in again late this afternoon, then we might be dry until about Thursday when it’s looking like a sustained amount of snowfall might kick in. Opening tomorrow? Possibly!!

New snow last 24 hours >> 30cm
Total snow at base >> 40cm
Total snow at 820m >> 80cm
Temperature at base >> -3°C
Temperature at 820m >> -5°C
