Another epic 24 hours in Niseko. About 20cm or so has accumulated at village level with plenty more up on the mountain. The 820m station at Hirafu now has a 160cm base – they recorded it as 125 yesterday.
Light snow forecast for today but from tomorrow it’s looking like we’re in for a dry spell. Lucky every resort is open and there will be plenty of terrain to explore, and plenty of protected pockets of pow to find for those who are prepared to search.
