Clear, partially sunny weather today (Monday/January 5) in Niseko causing the snowpack to settle significantly and awesome conditions at higher elevations. Black Diamond Tours guides reported deep, blower pow on Mt Yotei. It was a good ski day at Niseko United with peak gates opening once again, however the whole of the resort is looking pretty tracked out.
Winds are expected to pick up overnight, bringing in a storm with it hopefully lots of new snow tomorrow (Tuesday/January 6)!
