Beautiful blue skies and a smattering of powder across Niseko and the region yesterday. We headed to Rusutsu and got a great day of fresh lines and sunshine.
It snowed light in the afternoon and evening with about 5cm coming down between sundown and sunrise this morning. It’s snowing again this morning quite solidly in patches so hopefully it keeps up although I’m expecting it will be on and off for the next day or two before the next system comes through.
Good news today – the first sidecountry gates are open so there’s going to be some great lines to be had for those who make the effort. Have fun!
