After yesterday’s wild & windy storm conditions which filled in the cracks & tracks from the previous days, today was a calm Niseko day with periods of sunshine interspersed with periods of heavy snowfall.
10-15 cm of light, downy snow fell during the day and it’s currently clear and cold out there.
There’s more snow forecast for later this evening, continuing throughout tomorrow, but unfortunately it looks to be accompanied by high winds.
The 45-50 km/h winds could well close the upper lifts so starting your day early at Annupuri or Hanazono could be the smart move.
