Good news powder hounds – the drought is over! Wow – what a week of mild weather and no new snow. Almost started feeling like spring! But just chatting to a few people in the last few days, I guess it does happen. That’s the weather!
It started raining here at village level last night and when I checked the mercury about midnight it was +3 in the village. So I’m guessing that was minus territory up top and snowing. I haven’t heard from anyone who’s been up today but hopefully it’s softened that crusty base up a little.
And here’s the really good part – a cold front is coming through this afternoon and this evening and we’re expecting snow right down to village level. I will never have been so happy to clear the snow out of the drive as I will be tomorrow morning. More news and maybe even a photo then. Sweet dreams, powder hounds :)
