A fabulous powder day across the region today (Wednesday 05 March) with 15-20 cm of new snow at village level, and a lot more up high.
The day started cold but temperatures rose through the afternoon making the powder a little heavier by day’s end.
High, gusting winds have hit the Niseko Resort Area this evening which could mean upper lift closures tomorrow (Thursday 06 March).
Rusutsu is the best bet on a high wind day, so consider a day trip if the wind is still raging tomorrow morning.
