NISEKO golf fans are buzzing as the inaugural Niseko Golf Week celebration tees off.
Everyday this week there will be stroke play and team competitions across Niseko, finished off with a family fun day on Sunday.
The competitions will be played at Niseko Tokyu Golf Course at Hanazono, The Niseko Golf Course and the Niseko Village Course at Higashiyama.
Niseko Golf Ambassador Ian MacKenzie said Niseko was the ideal golfing location and Niseko Golf Week was designed to promote that.
"The goal of this community-based initiative is to bring together locals and visitors alike to enjoy the perfect summer conditions in Niseko’s stunning surroundings," he said.
"We are confident this annual event will grow from strength to strength, year after year."
