New Years cask breaking ceremony and mochi-pounding event

At 10am on the top of Grand Hirafu in front of the King Bell Hut come and join a traditional cask breaking Ceremony. Later in the afternoon at 2pm there will be a Mochi-pounding Ceremony as well in front of the Hotel Niseko Alpen. It is Japanese tradition to make mochi (sticky rice cake) for New Years, so come and
