A Chinese blockbuster movie shot in Hokkaido and released in mainland China in 2008 resulted in an amazing increase in Chinese tourists to Hokkaido. The speaker Mr. Ryuichi Watanabe, who has been engaged in town-revitalizing projects with a number of communities across the country, will talk about case examples including tips for marketing Niseko to the movie making industry and attracting more Chinese customers.
