It’s cloudy and no new snow fall this morning. I wasn’t sure about the snow condition before I went to Grand Hirafu yesterday. I took the top lifts 4 times and I had fresh powder run every time! Snow was fresh and deep, it was powder heaven!
I was going to the peak of Mt.Annupuri from the top gates. However it was too windy and poor visibility so I didn’t go. I don’t even know if the gates were opened yesterday. I will try it again today. Please read Niseko avalanche report if you are going, too. There are some big cracks near the peak this season. And snow condition is not equal, there are soft snow sections and extremely icy sections including lift stations. Please control your speed and enjoy powder snow!
