I was expecting the blue sky but it’s white again this morning. I went Moiwa yesterday. There were 10 cm of fresh powder on groomers and in the forest. After 10:30 am, sun came out then I saw “Diamond dust” finally. It’s seen only in very cold weather with sunshine. I was so happy to see it in my favorite forest.
I might go to Grand Hirafu to hike up to the peak if the visibility gets better. They have a little local market in Alpen hotel this weekend. You can enjoy delicious seafood from Japan seaside around Niseko.
