The magnitude 8.8 earthquake jolted northeast Japan on March11, and damage caused by this earthquake-tsunami catastrophe expanded Saturday.
Niseko Promotion Board and Kutchan tourism Association Hirafu Branch has decided to run a fund drive to support people in the disaster area.
donation boxes will be placed at the NPB offices ( in the Niseko Kogen Hotel and Sun suports land Kutchan), Kutchan tourism Association Hirafu Branch, and other participating stores in this area by the end of March.
Funds received in these donation box will be passed to the Japan Red Cross.
