Capella is set to release the first concept drawings and models of it’s much anticipated six-star resort development at Annupuri.
Included in the images are sketches by chief designer and world-renowned architect Tadao Ando who is known for his use of architectural themes that follow the natural forms of the landscape.
The entire project is being put together by a veritable dream team of designers, planners and hoteliers.
Capella founder, president and CEO, German Horst Schulze has served as vice chairman of Ritz-Carlton and is respected as a world leader in the service industry.
Project master planner is American Ben Wood, of BenWood Studio Shanghai whose defining work is Xintiandi, a luxury Shanghai shopping and entertainment district which appears to be an original old Shanghai streetscape, but is actually a completely new creation.
It’s expected Wood will similarly create Capella Niseko with an authentic traditional Japanese atmosphere.
