The sky is clear and it’s very cold this morning. I went to Grand Hirafu for “Early Morning” yesterday. When I got there at 7:15 am, there were 50 people in front of me already. After 45 minutes of waiting, I had one fantastic run at Super course!! Snow was untouched, nicely wind packed and fast. Top lifts and gates were opened so I hope everyone enjoyed powder after the storm.
It will be a perfect day for touring and groomers today. I might hike to the peak from gate 2. I know the mountain has been tracked out however I’m sure I can find fresh line. Also the view of Niseko from the peak is amazing. Don’t forget to bring your camera or i phone and enjoy the blue bird day!
