The sky is clear up and I can see the beautiful super moon. It’s so bright and big! I went to Goshiki yesterday and hiked up for one hour. I expected wet sticky snow, but 10 cm of new snow was surprisingly great. I enjoyed one amazing run in a long bowl and onsen after that.

As I found that snow at mountains is still great, I decided to go to Mt. Yotei today. I don’t want to give up winter yet. I woke up a bit earlier, made Onigiri (rice ball) and now ready to go. It’ll be a perfect day for hiking today, not too cold (hopefully not to warm) and no wind.

Sunny days will continue for a week. It’s a time to explore.
