A Touch of Winter

By 26th October 2011August 27th, 2013

Seems like the snow bug legend is true. Snow fell at altitudes as low as 700 meters on Mt Annupuri and Mt Yotei on Tuesday night with temperatures dropping down to around 5°C in Hirafu village.

It’s the second time this year that Niseko received some light snow, but the current rain is expected to wash away all but the highest pockets of snow in the next couple of days.

The weather over the past few days has been rainy, and forecasts call for milder temperatures in the double digits by the end of this week.
