Niseko Snow Report // 26 December, 2009

By 26th December 2009June 28th, 2014Niseko Snow Report

Expect conditions today to gradually close in, with the light snow of yesterday giving way to a fairly solid fall in the afternoon / evening.

High up the snow should be bucketing down by late afternoon, and there may be a strong wind scouring exposed areas. The winds should blow themselves out by tomorrow morning, and there’s a very good chance that the trees will be filled with deep deep pow.

Gate 5 (above the Hano 3 top station) opened yesterday, and Gate 4 (across from the King 4)  is looking good to open today – though that may change as the breeze moves in.

Expect lighter winds and intermittent snow falls for the next few days.
