A great bluebird day ahead by the look of things this morning, make sure you take a camera up and get in nice and early would be my advice. Only a sprinkling of fresh overnight and we're expecting things to soften up with warm temps through the day – though that should give way to some more heavy snow overnight tonight – snow that looks set to stick around into early next week. The peak gates are scheduled to open at 9.30 so get up there nice and early to ensure freshies. There's a detailed backcountry report available here. Also remember that the weather can change quickly in the mountains, and that even a benign looking morning may turn ugly by late afternoon.
